Kapela NEEDFUL THINGS byla založena v roce 1995 v Pardubicích, původně hrála death metal ale rychle se přeorientovala na grindcore ještě v roce 1995. Název kapely vznikl podle stejnojmenné knihy od S. Kinga. 

The band NEEDFUL THINGS was founded in 1995 in Pardubice, they originally played death metal but quickly switched to grindcore in 1995. The name of the band was based on the book of the same name by S. King.
