BAUHAUS - THE SKY'S GONE OUT

The Sky's Gone Out is the third studio album by English gothic rock band Bauhaus, released in 1982 by record label Beggars Banquet. The album's production was markedly more difficult than the band's previous records, featuring conflict between the band members and with their record label. The album was ultimately not as well-received as their first two albums, though it has received acclaim since its release. My comments: I find this one and their fourth album much more rewarding than the first two I have been looking for a long time for this one and the4th album to sell, but the distributor only has the first and second album available. Makes me angry. "All we ever wanted" is excellent. I think the lyrics continue the same as the other albums as weird non connecting or "distorted cliches" where you think the line is going to be a cliche saying and then.... its not. "all we ever wanted was everything. All we ever got was ....... Great. Swing the heartache and spirits are wonderful. If the first two are more successful over time, ... I dont understand how this one is different. Still looking for it on LP. 1. "Third Uncle" Brian Eno 5:14 2. "Silent Hedges" 3:09 3. "In the Night" 3:05 4. "Swing the Heartache" 5:51 5. "Spirit" 5:28 6. "The Three Shadows, Part I" 4:21 7. "The Three Shadows, Part II" 3:12 8. "The Three Shadows, Part III" 1:36 9. "All We Ever Wanted Was Everything" 3:49 10. "Exquisite Corpse"
